Many gather for daily salah under trees, makeshift tarpaulin shelters, or crumbling structures—exposed to rain, sun, and the elements. For these communities, a proper masjid is not just a luxury — it is a long-unfulfilled dream.

At HYC India, we believe every believer deserves a dignified space to connect with their Creator. That’s why our Build a Masjid initiative is dedicated to constructing simple yet lasting mosques in areas of extreme poverty, post-disaster recovery, or neglect. Whether in the villages of Bihar, flood-affected Telangana, or war-ravaged Gaza, we build masjids that serve as centers of worship, education, and community unity.

Each masjid we build is designed with:

    • Ablution (wudu) area with clean water access
    • Prayer mats, Qur’ans, and teaching tools
    • Electricity and lighting (where infrastructure allows)
    • Optional classroom for children and Islamic learning

This is not just a charity — it’s a Sadaqah Jariyah (continuous charity). Every time someone prays, learns the Qur’an, or breaks their fast inside the masjid you help build, you earn a share of the reward — even long after you leave this world.
